Chimney Nuts M5

Chimney nuts are designed to clip on to the edge of sheet metal, plastics or composites. They can also be used in a rectangular mounting hole located in the middle of a panel.

They are used to provide additional clamping force over traditional U-Clips, delivering a strong and secure fixing for applications where two panels require securing. The self-locking feature means that tapping, welding or riveting can be avoided.

Common applications include securing dashboards, door panels and trims, roof linings, motorbike fairings or under the bonnet in light duty applications.

The hole diameter ⌀ indicates the size of the fixing for securing the chimney nut in place.
