Rated to 500°F (approximately 260°C), it provides additional retention and sealing for demanding thread repair applications, including specified TIME-SERT®, BIG-SERT®, head bolt and taper-seat spark plug repairs. Supplied in a convenient 10ml precision applicator bottle.

TIME-SERT® 6020 is a specialist high-temperature thread locker and sealer for compatible thread repair applications. Applied to the external threads of an insert where specified, it provides additional retention and helps seal the threaded connection.

Important: Use TIME-SERT® 6020 only where specified by the relevant repair procedure. Not all TIME-SERT inserts require thread locker.
Application & Important Information
Prepare the threaded surfaces according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Apply TIME-SERT® 6020 to the external insert threads where specified, then complete installation using the appropriate TIME-SERT® or BIG-SERT® tools and procedure.
Allow the compound to cure according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Initial cure is approximately one hour, with full cure after 24 hours.
Please Note: TIME-SERT® 6020 is a thread locker and sealer, not installation driver oil. Use the correct driver lubricant separately where required.
