Würth Perfect Zinc Spray 400ml – High Zinc Anti-Corrosion Coating
Würth Perfect Zinc Spray is a professional, zinc-rich protective coating developed for corrosion protection, surface restoration and visual enhancement of steel and galvanised metal components. Its acrylic resin formulation contains 91.5% zinc in the dry film, providing active cathodic corrosion protection. Featuring an adjustable spray head, rapid drying and a matt zinc finish, this 400ml aerosol is suitable for compatible indoor and outdoor metalwork applications.
Professional Zinc-Rich Corrosion Protection for Steel & Metalwork
Würth Perfect Zinc Spray provides a protective zinc coating for suitable bare iron, steel and prepared galvanised metal surfaces.
The zinc-rich formulation offers active cathodic protection. Where the coating is damaged, zinc can act as a sacrificial layer to help protect the underlying steel against corrosion.
Its high zinc content, good covering power and strong resistance to running make it suitable for maintenance, repairs and surface protection.
The adjustable spray head allows controlled application across larger surfaces and smaller repair areas.
Würth identifies the product as suitable for repair work in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1461, subject to the applicable requirements and correct application.
The coating is designed to provide a matt zinc appearance with good abrasion resistance and long-term corrosion protection under suitable conditions.

Cathodic Corrosion Protection & Zinc Coating Performance
Würth Perfect Zinc Spray contains zinc particles that provide active cathodic protection to suitable steel substrates.
When the coating is damaged, the zinc acts sacrificially to help protect the underlying steel from rust formation.
The manufacturer reports 500 hours of corrosion protection in its specified salt spray test for Perfect Zinc Spray.
This performance depends on correct application, coating thickness, substrate condition and environmental exposure.
Important: The stated corrosion test performance should not be interpreted as a universal durability guarantee or guaranteed service life.
Overcoating, Welding & Compatibility
Würth Perfect Zinc Spray can be overcoated under suitable conditions, but preliminary compatibility testing is required.
The manufacturer identifies the product as spot weldable for appropriate applications.
Sealant Compatibility: Würth states that Perfect Zinc Spray is not suitable as a primer for polyurethane (PU), MS polymer or hybrid sealants.
For critical bonding, welding or coating applications, follow the relevant manufacturer instructions and carry out suitable testing.
